Up for sale is a 1979 25' Irwin Sailboat. This boat is on Ebay, or can be purchased for the price of $2500 without the 8HP motor or $3000 with. Boat is in good shape for her age. She is sailable now, I take her out every other week or so. Boat is in the water in a very nice extremely protected slip in Madeira Beach right at Johns Pass. I clean the bottom every month. Includes a cook stove, ice box, small television, marine battery, bilge pump. Sails are in great condition. Most running rigging replaced in the past 6 months and standing rigging is in great shape. Marine saltwater head is functional.

  Although she is very sailable now, she could use a few things to be pristine. Paint is worn. Hatch over the main cabin needs a new piece of plexiglass. The centerboard pennant is broken, unless you can hold your breath for a long time this will require a diver to correct. The centerboard is wedged in the "up" position leaving the draft at 2' 8, which is perfect for the sailing I do, so I have just left it.

  The slip can be taken over for $250 per month, or there is a nice anchorage within 5 miles of her present location where the boat can be moored for free. I know someone who will place a 600 lb. mooring for you for around $250. I will deliver her anywhere for a fee, contact me with your location for delivery fee.

  The optional outboard motor is a 2003 model Johnson 8HP Long shaft. The motor pushes the boat at 3.9 knots. Motor starts easily and runs very strong. The motor comes with a 6 gallon and 12 gallon tank. Motor is only to be sold with boat. If whomever buys the boat does not want the motor I will glady hold on to it as I use it for my dinghy as well.
